    Position: Work Placement Officer

    Salary: £15,000 - £16,879.93 per annum (Based on an FTE £18,500 - £20,818.58 per annum assessed based on experience)

    Hours/Contract: 30 per week (must be able to work at least 3 afternoons per week until 16.30), Term Time only – 38 weeks

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Location: The post holder will be required to work flexibly across all campuses, according to department needs

    Brooklands College is a Further Education College with two campuses based in Weybridge and Ashford.  We pride ourselves on providing innovative and effective programmes for learners of all abilities.

    We are looking for a Work Placement Officer to work within the Careers and Work Placement Team to enable our learners to participate in a meaningful work/industry placement. 

    You will need to work closely with different companies to build positive relationships and identify employment / industry & work placement opportunities for our learners. You will help increase employer capacity for new demands linked to T Level implementation in the future.  

    You must be able to use your own initiative and you'll be empowered to work with minimum supervision to achieve your goals. Working collaboratively with employers, learners and all college departments will be a key component. This role will suit individuals who thrive on meeting people and creating positive networks.

    You will be an enthusiastic team member who wants to see businesses and learners find work situations that benefit each other. 

    You will have a flexible approach, be willing to work on both college campuses and in employer workplaces.
