    We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Welfare and Wellbeing with extensive Safeguarding experience to support the college in its commitment to the protection of all learners through the coordination of the cross-college Welfare and Safeguarding Practice.

    As the Head of Welfare and Wellbeing you will collaborate with partner agencies and ensure appropriate policies, procedures, training, and supervision are in place to enable the college to meet its statutory safeguarding obligations and develop exemplar practice to achieve best outcomes for our learners.

    The Head of Welfare and Wellbeing will be the main Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL and one of the main points of contact for advice on safeguarding and prevent matters (alongside the Deputy DSL) and will coordinate the work of the Learner Welfare Team to support learner welfare and to promote positive professional behaviours needed for careers. 

    This role requires the Head of Welfare and Wellbeing to be proactive in the delivery of Brooklands College’s strategic aims and Core Organisational Values of Respect and Compassion, Integrity, Innovation and Equality, Diversity and work across both our Ashford and Weybridge sites.
